Main Duties of Production Operative Include:
Operate mills, bagging lines, and screening machines (including lifting up to 25kg)
Keep production running smoothly while meeting strict quality standards
Carry out basic maintenance and troubleshooting tasks
Complete paperwork accurately and on time
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Assist with goods movement, including loading and unloading vehicles
Operate a forklift truck - counterbalance forklift licence is essential
Provide cover and support for colleagues when required To be considered for the role of Production Operative:
Full UK driving licence and valid counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
Clear communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Honest, reliable, and proactive approach to work LOCATION: Leiston, Suffolk
HOURS: 7:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
PAY: £13.50 per hour
DURATION: Temp to Perm
