An opportunity has arisen to join an established organisation based just north of Cambridge as an Accounts Assistant, working on a hybrid basis. This role is ideal for someone with AP/AR experience who enjoys variety and wants to develop within a supportive finance team. Within this role, you will report into the Finance Manager, and have the opportunity to work from home up to twice a week. This role is being recruited as a temporary to perm or permanent role, depending on your notice period/availability. As the incoming Accounts Assistant, you will be tasked with the following duties, including but not limited to: - Processing purchase invoices - Conducting payment runs - Maintaining accurate payables and receivable ledgers - Supporting with reconciliations - Assisting with month end journals and any ad hoc tasks As the successful applicant, you’ll have hands?on experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable, strong numerical accuracy, and a solid understanding of core accounting principles. You'll also be an effective communicator, and happy to liaise with stakeholders across the business. You will also have strong excel skills and be comfortable using accountancy systems.
