Position Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our Band 5 rotation at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Occupational Therapist to gain experience and develop their skills within various specialties, including the acute hospital (elderly care, trauma & orthopaedics, acute stroke, surgery, and medical), inpatient general and stroke rehabilitation, and community therapy.
About the Rotation
The role will allow you to develop a broad range of skills and knowledge in both assessment and rehabilitation, with opportunities to work alongside experienced clinicians and the multi‑disciplinary team.
Training and Support
The Trust is committed to ongoing staff training and development, including our preceptorship programme. You will have regular access to clinical and managerial supervision and support to complete clinical competencies, as well as opportunities to participate in service improvement projects. A Band 5 peer support group is also available.
