Your new firm
Our client is a Top 20 law firm with offices across the globe. They are currently recruiting Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives, or Experienced Paralegals to join their market-leading Fraud team nationwide. This role offers office-based, hybrid, or remote working, with the requirement to visit their Birmingham office once a month or for training and client events.
Your new role
The firm has roles available across their Motor, Casualty, and Vehicle Hire teams at different levels. Responsibilities include defending and investigating exaggerated claims, fabricated claims, staged accidents, and organized fraud. You will communicate with clients and witnesses, analyze evidence, instruct investigations, and consider sanctions such as recovery of costs, injunctions, and police referrals. Managing a caseload of litigated claims with fraud concerns, under delegated authority agreements.
The Fraud team is a multiple award-winning, dynamic team known for defending fraud insurance claims and working with law enforcement agencies like IFED. The team is led by experienced professionals who support your success.
Their work has led to significant successes, including findings of dishonesty, police referrals, and cost recoveries.
What you'll need to succeed
You should be a solicitor, legal executive, or experienced paralegal with knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules. Experience in defendant EL/PL, RTA, or credit hire is preferred; fraud experience is beneficial but not essential. Experience handling litigated files, preferably in personal injury, is required.
