RPS has great opportunities for Resident Engineers Civils to join our site based teams for roles in the South East, South West, and Dublin Region of Republic of Ireland.
We are seeking a number of Resident Engineers Civils to work on major above and below ground water utility projects helping to deliver important infrastructure for their customers and to ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the contract documents (works requirements).
Monitor the Contractor for compliance with the Safety Health & Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations
The desired qualifications and experience for the Resident Engineers Civils are:
Level 8 degree in Engineering
7+ years of relevant post graduate experience in engineering including site works supervision and monitoring of safe working practices. Ideally this will include water sector projects. Experience of pipeline treatment plant work will be an advantage.
Hold a clean driving licence
Hold current Safepass, Managing safely in construction and manual handling.
Computer skills - MS Office Suite (advanced user of MS Excel preferred).
Written – excellent report writing.
Working knowledge of Public Works and FIDIC form of contract
Track record of leading or working in site supervision teams
Contractor design review experience beneficial
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make recommendations
