As an AI Engineer, you will develop and maintain machine learning and AI data pipelines, working with senior team members to source, document, and ensure the accuracy of structured and unstructured data. You'll assist in coding solutions and implementing AI models in production systems, while evaluating methods to generate actionable insights. Effective communication is essential as you'll translate data-driven outputs into business language, participate in meetings, and collaborate across teams. You'll actively seek feedback and drive your career development by enhancing your technical skills in Python, SQL, and Gen AI libraries, alongside experience in data transformation and DevSecOps practices. Your curiosity, communication skills, and teamwork are key to your success in this role.
Position Responsibilities:
Data Management:
* Develop robust ML and AI data pipelines for structured and unstructured data sets.
* Work with senior team members to source and understand data.
* Document acquired data and create appropriate tables and databases for data science projects.
* Ensure data accuracy through checks and balances.
Generative AI Development:
* Assist in translating business problems into code under the guidance of senior team members.
* Collaborate on feature generation for AI models.
* Implement and code data science solutions in production systems.
* Acquire data to measure the effectiveness of AI solutions.
Analysis and Insights:
* Evaluate ML and AI methods relative to quantitative finance theoretical frameworks.
* Develop the ability to generate actionable insights from iterative data analysis.
* Translate data-driven outputs into business language and make recommendations.
* Provide analysis on datasets of moderate complexity.
Communication and Collaboration:
* Communicate business analytics to senior team members.
* Participate in meetings and brainstorming sessions.

Required Qualifications:
* Programming Languages: Advanced Python, SQL, and deep knowledge of Gen AI libraries.
* Data Transformation: Advanced skills in data engineering, data quality, and required transforms for statistical modeling.
* Database Querying: Advanced SQL, Snowflake, Databricks and exposure to spark.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Machine Learning: Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms and AI toolkits.
* Statistical Analysis: Familiarity with statistical tests, distributions, maximum likelihood estimators, and statistical modeling techniques.
* DevSecOps: Experience developing in a DevSecOps framework, including best practices for version control, code review, unit test development, monitoring, and supporting a CI/CD framework.
* Curiosity and Learning: Demonstrates curiosity and learns to ask the right questions to gain knowledge.
* Communication: Shares information and provides rationale behind ideas.

Salary range is expected to be between
$70,560.00 USD - $131,040.00 USD
