Our digital agency division specialises in Paid Media, with additional expertise in SEO, websites and strategic partnerships.
We’re now seeking an experienced Account Director to help shape and lead our growing digital team - bringing structure, leadership, and strategic excellence to client delivery.
Role Overview
The Account Director will play a pivotal role in managing key client relationships and overseeing the activation team responsible for campaign delivery across Paid Media (PPC, Display, Paid Social), SEO, and partnership activity.
You’ll be both a strategic leader and a hands-on problem-solver - ensuring our campaigns run efficiently, deliver outstanding results, and that clients receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Strategy
* Serve as the senior point of contact for key agency clients across Paid Media, SEO, and partnership accounts.
* Develop and communicate strategic recommendations that drive measurable performance and ROI.
* Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities — e.g., suggesting new campaigns, services, or channels.
Team Management & Operations
* Lead, mentor, and develop the client services team
* Implement efficient workflows, processes, and reporting structures across the team.
* Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Work with the Managing Director to forecast resource needs and define team KPIs.
Performance & Delivery
* Oversee the performance of paid campaigns across Google, Meta, and Display networks.
* Ensure clear reporting and data integrity across client accounts.
* Collaborate with SEO and partnership specialists to deliver integrated campaigns.
* Troubleshoot performance issues and support the team in optimisation strategies.
Commercial & Financial
* Manage client budgets, profitability, and account performance targets.
* Support in pitching, proposal development, and onboarding of new clients.
* Provide commercial insights to inform growth strategies for the agency.
Retention & Client Advocacy
* Anticipate potential client concerns and proactively resolve issues.
* Advocate for the client’s needs internally while maintaining the agency’s best practices and profitability.
* Drive renewals and long-term partnerships.
Requirements
Experience & Skills
* 5+ years’ experience in a digital agency environment, ideally with a strong Paid Media background.
* Proven track record managing large client relationships and multi-channel campaigns.
* Strong understanding of Google Ads, Meta Ads, and programmatic/display channels.
* Working knowledge of SEO and partnership marketing (affiliates, influencers, brand collabs).
* Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
* Exceptional communication, organisational, and client service skills.
* Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into strategy.
Desirable
* Experience with tools such as Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, and campaign management platforms.
* Background in lifestyle, luxury, or premium brand sectors a plus.
