Residential Children’s Home Manager
Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: £80,000 + bonuses + benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Children’s Home Manager to join a highly regarded, expanding care provider offering therapeutic, child-centred residential care for young people aged 11–17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
This organisation is well known for its strong values, supportive culture, and commitment to staff development. You will lead a small, dedicated team within a nurturing, family-style home, supported by an experienced Deputy Manager and Responsible Individual.

Requirements
*
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
*
3+ years’ experience working with children (including at least 1 year in a senior or managerial role)
*
Strong understanding of the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 & Ofsted framework
*
Confident leadership skills with excellent safeguarding and care planning knowledge
*
Passion for supporting young people to feel safe, valued, and able to achieve positive outcomes
The Role

Lead the day-to-day running of a therapeutic children’s home
*
Ensure high-quality, child-centred care that promotes safety, stability, and emotional wellbeing
*
Build and motivate a supportive and consistent staff team
*
Maintain high standards of compliance, safeguarding, and Ofsted readiness
*
Work collaboratively with clinical, education, and social care professionals
*
Drive positive outcomes and a strong, nurturing culture within the home
