About the Role: As an HGV Fitter, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of their fleet by maintaining high standards of workmanship in the servicing and repair of their vehicles, trailers, and related equipment. You will be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and conducting preventative maintenance checks to ensure fleet vehicles are operating at peak performance. Key Responsibilities: Vehicle Inspections & Diagnostics: Carry out regular inspections of fleet vehicles, trailers, and associated equipment to identify faults, defects, and wear. Use diagnostic tools to test systems and components. Repairs & Maintenance: Dismantle, overhaul, repair, and reassemble faulty components as required. Conduct emergency call-out repairs when necessary. Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance checks to ensure vehicles remain compliant and operational.
