We're looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic finance team and help ensure the smooth processing and payment of supplier invoices. What You’ll Do As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all supplier invoices are authorised, processed, and paid accurately and on time. Working closely with both internal teams and external suppliers, you'll be the go-to person for managing queries, maintaining strong relationships, and delivering excellent service. Your key responsibilities will include: Accurately processing invoices via various methods (EDI, manual, bulk, scanned) Ensuring all invoices are approved and processed in line with internal SLAs Managing supplier queries via email and phone, resolving issues swiftly Supporting payment runs and raising CHAPs payments when required Performing regular supplier statement reconciliations Ensuring compliance with accounting policies, tax regulations, and internal controls Collaborating with teams across the business to support financial processes What You’ll Bring We’re looking for someone who is not only experienced in accounts payable but also motivated, reliable, and customer-focused. You’ll need to have: Previous experience working in a high-volume accounts payable role Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Excellent interpersonal and communication skills A high level of attention to detail and accuracy A commitment to providing exceptional customer service What makes Stonegate a great place to work?
