Energy Expert (Part‑time)
Role Overview
Location: Derby Hub
Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday – Saturday
Salary: £27,976 (Pro‑rate) per annum

Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for customers, face‑to‑face or by phone, offering support beyond standard energy services.
- Provide practical, personalised energy‑saving advice to help customers reduce usage, lower bills and shrink their carbon footprint.
- Introduce customers to innovative, eco‑conscious products and services.
- Use the in‑house CRM system to resolve queries efficiently and translate technical information into everyday language.
- Serve as a sustainability ambassador in the community by collaborating with local charities and organisations through Utilita Giving.
- Lead local green initiatives and work closely with the team to inspire others in building a cleaner, connected future.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Genuine interest in sustainability and community engagement, with the opportunity to gain an ISEP qualification.
- Passion for helping people and making a difference.
- Excellent communication skills across all channels.
- Proactive, can‑do attitude.
