where premium visuals and compelling storytelling are central to success.
We are seeking a
Senior Videographer
with both technical mastery and creative ambition — someone able to lead on high-end filming, push creative standards, and ensure every shoot is optimised for YouTube-first distribution.
Key Responsibilities
Filming & Creative Execution
* Lead on capturing
premium-quality footage
for long-form content, including interviews, documentaries, behind-the-scenes, and cinematic B-roll.
* Ensure shoots are visually consistent with the brand identity and optimised for YouTube-first storytelling.
* Direct talent and contributors on set to achieve natural, engaging delivery.
* Balance cinematic storytelling with algorithm-friendly framing and pacing (e.g. strong hooks, tight framing for vertical cutdowns).
Technical Management
* Own responsibility for cameras, lenses, lighting, sound, and all technical equipment.
* Maintain, calibrate, and prepare gear for both planned productions and fast-turnaround reactive filming.
* Introduce new filming techniques (gimbals, drones, multicam setups) to elevate production value.
* Train junior videographers and production assistants in technical and creative best practices.
Collaboration
* Work closely with the Lead Producer to translate scripts and briefs into a strong visual style.
* Coordinate with Editors to ensure footage is logged, labelled, and delivered in a structured way for efficient post-production.
* Collaborate with the Head of Social to capture assets tailored for Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram during every shoot.
Innovation & Workflow
* Continuously test new kit, formats, and filming styles aligned with platform trends (e.g. filming vertical content alongside horizontal).
* Experiment with AI-driven video capture and auto-transcription tools to streamline workflow.
* Build and maintain a
shot library
(B-roll, set-ups, overlays) for reuse across evergreen and reactive content.
What We're Looking For
* Strong track record in high-end videography (TV, branded content, or digital-first).
* Mastery of cameras, lenses, lighting, and sound.
* Confidence directing both talent and contributors.
* Experience creating cinematic visuals that translate effectively for YouTube, Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram.
* Experience in working with high-profile talent.
* Ability to balance creative ambition with speed and efficiency in a fast-moving environment.
* Experience in training and mentoring junior creatives.
* An innovative mindset, always seeking new techniques, tools, and workflows to raise production value.
