Role Description
This is a 4 days a week part-time Optometrist role based at Specsavers in Stockport. The Optometrist will conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess and diagnose vision conditions, provide expert advice and solutions to patients, and offer exceptional care tailored to their needs. Additional responsibilities include maintaining detailed patient records, operating advanced diagnostic equipment, and collaborating with a skilled team to ensure high-quality customer experiences. The role requires a dedication to professional standards and patient-centered care.
Qualifications
* Strong clinical expertise in performing eye exams, diagnosing vision issues, and prescribing corrective lenses or treatment solutions.
* Knowledge of and experience with advanced ophthalmic equipment and diagnostic tools.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to respond effectively to patient needs and work collaboratively with the team.
* Commitment to delivering a first-class level of patient care, including attention to detail and compassion.
* Optometry degree (BSc/MSc) and registration with the General Optical Council (GOC).
* Willingness to adhere to professional standards and keep up-to-date with industry developments, including continuing professional development (CPD).
