Primary Teaching Assistant Academics are recruiting confident and adaptable Teaching Assistants to support our partner primary schools across Skipton, including mainstream settings and specialist SEN provisions. We offer flexible daily supply opportunities, with the potential for long-term and permanent positions for the right candidates. This role may involve supporting pupils in mainstream classrooms, providing 1:1 or small group support, or assisting children with SEN and additional needs within specialist provisions. Key Responsibilities: Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons Provide 1:1 and small group support Assist pupils with SEN and additional needs Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment Encourage pupil confidence, behaviour and engagement What Were Looking For: A confident and proactive Teaching Assistant Experience in primary school and/or SEN settings A flexible and reliable approach A genuine passion for supporting children A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one Why work with Academics?
