This is a fixed-term role starting in September, with both part-time and full-time hours available to suit the right candidate. This exciting opportunity would suit a passionate linguist who is committed to delivering high-quality Spanish lessons and inspiring students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will be joining a supportive and forward-thinking department that places language learning and cultural enrichment at the heart of its curriculum. The pay for this role will be in line with your payscale and reflective of your experience and qualifications. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Spanish lessons in accordance with the national curriculum. Develop students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Inspire a love of languages and an appreciation for different cultures. Prepare students for GCSE examinations, offering tailored support and intervention as needed. Track and assess student progress, setting high expectations and promoting academic excellence. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that motivates all learners. Engage with the wider school community through extracurricular activities such as language clubs or international events. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience teaching Spanish at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential). Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for language education. Effective classroom management and the ability to engage and inspire students.
