Location: Bournemouth Salary: Competitive excellent benefits About the Role Our client, a leading organisation within the aviation and defence sector, is seeking an experienced CAMO Maintenance Planning Lead to oversee and manage their CAMO maintenance planning function. This is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring the organisations fleet of aircraft, engines, and components are maintained to the highest standards, in full compliance with UK and international aviation regulations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving safety, compliance, and operational excellence across the maintenance planning team. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the CAMO Maintenance Planning team, delivering effective short-, medium-, and long-term maintenance planning across the fleet. Oversee planning meetings, maintenance scheduling, and component forecasting in collaboration with procurement and supply chain functions. Ensure full compliance with EASA, UK CAA, UK MAA, and other applicable aviation regulations. Maintain and continuously improve compliance and safety monitoring systems, supporting internal and external audits. Promote a culture of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement throughout the organisation. Act as a technical authority, providing guidance and expertise on CAMO planning matters to senior stakeholders. About You Proven experience in CAMO Maintenance Planning within a regulated aviation environment. In-depth knowledge of EASA, UK CAA, UK MAA, and FAA regulations. Experience with ISO standards () and Safety Management Systems. Relevant technical qualification (e.g. Part 66 B1/B2 licence, aerospace engineering degree, or equivalent experience). Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Ability to obtain and hold SC-level security clearance.
