Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced restaurant manager to join our team here at Penelope's on the Park. Due to internal progression an opportunity to join our team has arisen.
Responsibilities
* Manage the team and the restaurant on a day to day basis, including liaising with the BOH team to ensure consistent quality of food for our guests
* Strengthen and develop the team through ongoing coaching & development
* Recruit new members of the team where necessary, and meet with the GM at least monthly to discuss team levels and where we might need to increase
* Write & manage the rotas for the FOH team, including monitoring absence requests, availability etc
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation & complete daily/weekly checks to ensure due diligence is in place
* Handle complaints, resolving them with guests quickly & efficiently to ensure that all our guests get the full Penelope's experience
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a restaurant management role
* Strong people skills - you will have to interact with & manage many different people & you will have to be able to adapt your style to get the best out of them
* Strong wine knowledge
* A focus on guest experience
* A keen eye for detail & passionate about upholding standards even under pressure.
