The Role This is an ongoing, full-time position for a specialist who can deliver both practical and academic PE. Your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for KS5 (A-Level or BTEC Sport) for a suitably qualified candidate.
* Fostering a positive and inclusive environment where students of all abilities are encouraged to participate and improve.
* Leading and coordinating extracurricular clubs and school fixtures across various sports (e.g., Football, Rugby, Athletics, and Basketball).
* Planning and assessing progress in line with the national curriculum and school policy.
* Maintaining a safe and organized environment for all practical activities.
The Ideal Candidate We are looking for a practitioner who is a positive role model and can inspire a lifelong love of physical activity. Most importantly, we require:
* A Passion for Physical Education — You are driven by a belief in the importance of sport for character building and health.
* Subject Expertise — You hold a degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field, along with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Proven Classroom Management — You have experience managing practical sessions effectively and ensuring high standards of student behavior.
