Job: Site Assistant School: Secondary Academy, London Borough of Lewisham, Southeast London Start date: As soon as possible Contract: Temporary, 35 hours per week, 52 weeks a year, until July 2026 Aston Education is looking for a Site Assistant for a large secondary school with excellent facilities in London Borough of Lewisham, Southeast Londonto start as soon as possible. You'll work in the Premises / Site Management Team. As a Site Assistant your duties will include but are not limited to: All aspects of building maintenance Ensuring security of the building at all times Liaising with contractors on site Re-stocking and replacement of supplies Health and Safety The successful candidate will have the following: Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role, preferably in a school setting Basic DIY/Practical skills and ability to use and maintain tools and basic light machinery Good knowledge of Health and Safety Good ITC, verbal and written communication skills Enhanced DBS check is required Closing date: As soon as possible Please contact Tarja Aila at Aston Education for an informal chat and to apply for this Site Assistant job.
