We are currently looking for enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 nurses who have a passion for Emergency Nursing to join our friendly Emergency Department.
Requirements
* Post registration experience in an acute care setting is desirable.
* Resilience to meet the challenges of a busy but rewarding department.
* Newly qualified nurses or those with previous experience in an acute setting are encouraged to apply.
About the Role
Our Emergency Department at Newham serves a large, diverse population, seeing 400-500 patients daily, including acute medical cases, paediatrics, and mental health crises.
We offer structured orientation, ongoing support, and guidance, following the RCN National Emergency Nursing Framework competencies. Support is provided by experienced PDN, Practice Facilitator, senior nursing staff, MDT including ACPs, Social Prescribers, and Consultants, to help you achieve Level 1 competencies and progress into Emergency Care and Trauma courses at Level 2.
