AUTOMATION AND PROJECTS ENGINEER MARKET DRAYTON MONDAY TO FRIDAY - 08.00 - 17.00 or 07.00 - 16.00 £55,000 - £60,000 per annum Benefits This is a completely new role and an exciting opportunity for the right individual to help change this companies Maintenance approach, deliver site projects and be the site lead for automation. The right individual will have a track record of delivering projects from small machinery modifications, automation updates to full line installations. The individual will have a good understanding of All Siemens software with the ability to update / modify programmes, manage obsolescence and to build the software library. Role Description Implement and effectively establish key engineering processes inline with the Engineering Road Map Demonstrate a structured problem solving approach Ownership of projects and upgrades through the full project life cycle Identify and deliver site projects / improvements with automation elements Maintain and Monitor use of automation and electrical system software Use route cause analysis to identify and bottom out underlying performance issues. Through Analyse of Performance and Maintenance data, suggest and implement improvements to drive OEE Lease with OEM automation specialists to identify and resolve complex ongoing faults. Responsible for obsolescence management, liaise with OEM automation and development teams to ensure site criticality is a key element of obsolescence. (Including, PLC's, Inverters, instrumentation etc) Skills and Qualifications Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or ONC / HNC Or equivalent in either Mechanical or electrical disciplines Experience within a Maintenance environment Lead projects in automation, Improvements and infrastructure Drive change, active role in continuously improving our business.
