Job Title: Fostering Social Worker
Hourly Rate: £33.30
Weekly Hours: 18.5 or 37
Location: Shropshire Council
Key Requirements
* Regular supervision sessions with carers to address ongoing issues, review placements, and provide emotional/therapeutic support.
* Acting as a point of contact for foster carers when they need assistance or advice.
* Checking that foster carers meet National Minimum Standards and Fostering Regulations.
* Maintaining necessary paperwork, safe care plans, risk assessments, learning & development plans.
* Identifying gaps in foster carers' skills or knowledge and putting together training or development plans.
* Helping carers with safe care planning, risk assessments.
Skills & Experience
* A qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
* UK driving license
* 3 Years post qualifying experience
