As Receptionist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional front of house service, including:
Welcoming guests and ensuring they receive friendly and efficient service
Handling calls, emails and enquiries promptly and professionally
Passing messages clearly and efficiently to the relevant departments
Maintaining accurate guest profiles within Protel in line with GDPR
Supporting sales of hotel facilities including food, beverages and experiences
Managing reservations and entering bookings accurately into Protel
Preparing confirmation letters, menus and other guest correspondence
Ensuring all departments receive relevant reports and updates throughout the day
Handling guest queries or complaints, escalating when required
Maintaining high standards in the reception area and ensuring equipment is well maintained
Processing guest departures, balancing floats and completing banking at the end of shiftWhat we're looking for
Our client is seeking a friendly and organised Receptionist who enjoys delivering outstanding guest experiences:
Previous reception or front of house experience within a luxury hotel environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage guest enquiries calmly and professionally
Confident using reservation systems (experience with Protel is beneficial)
