The University of Wolverhampton has invested in a brand-new Safeguarding and Student Welfare Officer role to join our Directorate of Student Life.
This post represents new investment that will join an established team and signifies the strength of priority University leadership is placing on student Welfare and safeguarding.
The department supports student retention, achievement and satisfaction by providing a range of services to enhance student welfare and safeguarding and ensure that all students have access to support appropriate to their needs.
You will join our team with a safeguarding and welfare background and will be responsible for the co-ordination and management of low-level student welfare concerns. The role will take a lead on prevention and awareness activity to increase the profile of safeguarding within the university and increase confidence amongst our community members to gain the support they need and deserve.
You will be an excellent communicator and team player, able to prioritise effectively and demonstrate a high level of competence in managing safeguarding and welfare concerns.
We are Campus University, based in Wolverhampton City Centre with campuses at Walsall and Telford.
