Location: East Grinstead & Surrounding Areas Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time – Flexible Days Salary: Paid to scale – M1 to UPS3 or £130–£150 per day Hours: School hours (typically 08:30–15:30)

This secondary Art & Design supply role is ideal for teachers who want flexibility while continuing to inspire students through creative, practical and engaging lessons. Whether you’re supporting KS3 classes with foundational skills or guiding KS4 students through GCSE coursework, this role allows you to teach your subject with variety and autonomy.
We’re looking for adaptable and enthusiastic Art & Design teachers to join our supply team in East Grinstead and the surrounding areas. Each placement offers a new environment, new students and fresh opportunities to bring creativity into the classroom.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Delivering high‑quality Art & Design lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Encouraging creativity, experimentation and confidence in artistic techniques
* Supporting students with practical skills, project work and portfolio development
* Adapting to different schools, schemes of work and class abilities
* Creating a positive, inclusive and well‑managed learning environment
* Working collaboratively with school staff and following school policies
What We’re Looking For
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching Art & Design at secondary level
* Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom management
* Someone adaptable, reliable and passionate about creative education
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Ability to plan, deliver and assess lessons independently
