A standout opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a Tier 1 Legal 500 firm as a Legal Director. With a clear strategy to become the UK’s market-leading private client team, this national department is expanding under the direction of its new National Head of Private Client and former STEP Yorkshire Chair.
This is the perfect move for a technically strong solicitor with an established niche and the ambition to grow both their own practice and mentor others within a firm that actively encourages specialisation, autonomy and leadership.
You’ll join a national team of over 130 private client professionals working on some of the most complex and high-value matters in the UK. Whether your experience lies in international estates, trust structuring, or agricultural wealth, you’ll find support and opportunity to take your career to the next level.
Who we’re looking for
4. Private Client Solicitor ready for a Legal Director role (typically 8+ PQE)
5. Strong expertise in wills, trusts, tax and estates, ideally with a niche focus
6. STEP qualified or willing to become STEP accredited
7. Commercially aware, client-focused and team-oriented
8. Comfortable leading on complex matters and mentoring junior lawyers
Salary & benefits
9. £75,000–£80,000+ depending on experience
