Available Monday - Sunday, 8:30am-6:30pm *
Part Time – 19.5 to 26 hours per week
12 month fixed‑term contract
UK Notional hourly rate – £13.10 per hour
Location – B&Q Collect Minehead, Seaward Way, TA24 5BY
Shifts – 8:30am-6:30pm, mainly 10‑hour shifts, may work weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
Colleagues must be over the age of 18 due to shift lengths and lone working. Induction will be based in B&Q Taunton.
Responsibilities
* Support customers at every step of their digital journey – picking up or returning online orders and getting help with future orders.
* Provide a seamless customer journey for customers collecting and returning B&Q and Marketplace products.
* Collaborate with colleagues in the buddy store to ensure customer orders and returns are fulfilled smoothly.
* Use digital systems and devices to manage stock and process orders.
* Adhere to policies and procedures and role model B&Q behaviours.
Qualifications
Happy to help, eager to learn and just a little bit obsessed with home improvement. You’re friendly, outgoing, and get a buzz from helping others.
You’ll be comfortable expanding your skills with new technology and learning new ways of working. This role involves working alone or with one other person, so teamwork and self‑direction are important.
You should be flexible enough to work up to 10‑hour shifts on a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
