Connect Appointments is recruiting a Workshop Manager for a full-time permanent position with an established plant machinery business based in the Glenrothes area - a hands-on leadership role with real autonomy and a salary of 40,000 to 45,000.

* Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5pm
* 40,000 to 45,000 per annum - dependent on experience

As a Workshop Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Leading and motivating a team of plant mechanics across workshop and mobile operations
* Managing job allocation, workloads and repair progress to maintain productivity and quality
* Serving as the primary point of contact for clients and building long-term relationships
* Coordinating service schedules, parts ordering and compliance with health and safety standards
* Producing reports and maintaining accurate service documentation
To be considered as a Workshop Manager, you will need:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a workshop service manager or controller role within the plant or agricultural industry - car and HGV workshop experience will not be considered
* Strong technical knowledge of plant or agricultural mechanical systems
* Proven leadership ability with a customer-focused approach
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a full, clean UK driving licence
