Our client is a market-leading Tier 1 Automotive manufacturer seeking a Maintenance Manager to join their team. The role will be responsible for maintaining site machinery and managing a team of maintenance engineers in their daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities – Maintenance Manager
* Take direction from the Site Services Manager
* Direct and develop maintenance technicians
* Support other group leaders and department managers
* Address concerns raised by team members and provide feedback
* Immediately escalate serious machine and equipment issues to the Operations Manager
* Adhere to company systems and procedures
* Maintain customer quality standards
* Implement TPM systems including corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance
* Use FMEA to identify critical parts
* Manage tool maintenance and improvement requests
* Maintain the workshop and stores 5S system
* Design reporting formats and record data accordingly
* Conduct bi-annual PDRs with team members
* Define safe systems of work
* Report daily performance data in operations review meetings
* Establish a library of drawings and manuals for all equipment
* Review PDCA action plans weekly
Qualifications & Experience – Maintenance Manager
* Electrical and/or Mechanical experience
* Knowledge of maintenance management systems
* Team leadership experience
* Strong organizational skills and a systems approach
* Knowledge of injection and painting processes
* Experience working with service suppliers
