Permanent, Full Time (35 hours per week). Are you passionate about creating safe, supportive, and compliant workplaces where people can thrive? We are looking for a Workplace Compliance Manager to champion health and safety across JRF and our Group Centre.
In this pivotal role, you\\'ll be the driving force behind our health and safety culture, working closely with the Workplace Lead and our external H&S partner to ensure we meet compliance obligations and embed a positive, proactive approach across all teams and buildings. You\\'ll manage and promote adherence to health and safety policies, support all departments in completing their health and safety tasks on time, and track and report progress accurately. For the Homestead Park and Workplace Teams, you\\'ll have direct responsibility for managing compliance across a busy public park, landscaping team, community events, and several office buildings.
Responsibilities
* Manage and promote adherence to health and safety policies.
* Support departments in completing health and safety tasks on time and report progress.
* Collaborate with the Workplace Lead and external H&S partner to improve safety culture.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate health and safety risks across sites including park, events, and facilities.
* Administer and maintain the health and safety management system; manage improvement works and projects within budget and timescales while complying with regulations.
Qualifications
* Hold a NEBOSH diploma (minimum required qualification).
* Proven experience in health and safety management or similar role (ideally including horticulture, events, and facilities/operational management).
* Excellent knowledge of current health and safety legislation and best practices.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate with internal teams and external providers.
* Experience conducting risk assessments and implementing tailored safety measures.
* Familiarity with administering a health and safety management system.
* Experience managing improvement works and projects within budget and timescales, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
