What You’ll Do: As our Projects Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and delivering creative, community-focused recycling projects. From trialling new schemes and technologies to tackling contamination and boosting recycling rates, your work will directly support environmental goals and resource efficiency. You will: Coordinate and manage end-to-end delivery of projects that engage the public in sustainable behaviour change. Work closely with internal teams, contractors, schools, businesses, and local residents to co-create practical solutions. Innovate, test and scale up approaches to improve recycling performance and reduce waste. Use insight and data to understand and overcome barriers to public participation in recycling. Monitor progress, report outcomes, and keep projects on time and on budget. Who We’re Looking For: The successful candidate will be a confident and organised project manager with a strong interest in sustainability and behaviour change. You understand the challenges of engaging the public and have practical experience in overcoming resistance and building trust to drive real impact. We’d love to hear from you if you: Have experience managing projects from concept to completion – ideally in environmental, community or local government contexts. Understand the psychology behind behaviour change and can use this insight to boost participation. Thrive on collaboration, problem-solving, and turning ideas into action.
