Acute Medicine Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP)

Join to apply for the Acute Medicine Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) role at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

An exciting opportunity for a one year post to cover maternity leave has arisen for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join the team of ACPs working in Acute Medicine at UCLH. The role will support the acute medical service at UCLH, working across both Same Day Emergency care Unit (SDEC) and the medical on‑call team.

We will consider trainees for the post at band 7, who are already on a trainee pathway and support them to achieve the necessary master qualifications and competency to progress to autonomous practitioners.

The ACP will act as an autonomous practitioner looking after medical patients. They will work as a part of the multidisciplinary team, which will include trainee ACPs.

This service is supported by the Consultant Nurse Acute Medicine and Acute Medical Consultants. The post holder will primarily work in SDEC, which is open seven days a week. The post holder will be expected to work across a variety of shifts, including weekends.
