We are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join a well- established manufacturing business in the North East. This is a key support role within the Sales function, acting as a vital link between customers, sales, production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth and efficient order processing and outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process customer orders accurately and efficiently within ERP/MRP systems
2. Create quotations, order acknowledgements, and customer correspondence
3. Maintain accurate customer records, databases, and sales documentation
4. Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, responding to queries on orders, pricing, delivery, and product information
5. Monitor order progress from receipt through to delivery, providing updates and proactively managing delays
6. Liaise with Production, Planning, Purchasing, and Logistics to ensure timely fulfilment
7. Support the Sales Team with reporting, KPI data, tenders, presentations, and contract administration
8. Assist with pricing updates, product information management, and coordination of samples and marketing materials
9. Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and data protection requirements
