Vehicle Technician
Our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership group operating throughout South West Wales, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy Carmarthen dealership. This opportunity is ideal for experienced professionals committed to delivering high-quality service and repairs. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the dealership’s standards by diagnosing and rectifying vehicle faults efficiently and accurately.
Benefits for the successful Vehicle Technician:
Up to £35,000 per annum salary, depending on experience
Performance-related bonus scheme worth up to £(phone number removed) annually
Paid overtime at 1.25x rate
Increasing holiday entitlement, starting at 20 days plus bank holidays, increasing after 5 years to 23 days

Regular working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm and 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am-1:00pm, paid at enhanced rateDuties:
Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs to manufacturer standards
Accurately identify vehicle faults and report findings to the Service Manager
Maintain full adherence to quality procedures laid out by both the client and vehicle manufacturers
Ensure all work is completed within safety and safety compliance standards
Complete vehicle servicing and repairs promptly, contributing to high customer satisfaction levels
Work effectively as part of a team in a high-demand dealership environment
Assist in maintaining efficient workshop operations and achieving team targetsRequirements:
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification as a minimum
At least 1-2 years’ practical experience as a Vehicle Technician
Full UK driving licence with minimal points
Ability to produce high-quality workmanship consistently
Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge
Motivated with a professional attitude and excellent team spirit
Residing in, or within reasonable commuting distance to, Carmarthen
