Job Purpose / Overview
The Chemical Safety and CoSHH Advisors will provide high-quality technical advice on the management of chemicals on the site supporting safety, health, fire and environment functions to deliver a safe working environment on one of Europe's largest and busiest construction sites. The role will involve providing support and coaching to contract partner COSHH Co-ordinators as well as supporting the site's migration into a COMAH-regulated site as commissioning of the power station approaches. The role will also involve providing advice to the site's emergency response capability to ensure that the right response tools are in place.

Hinkley Point C is a major infrastructure project requiring expertise and support of many other contractor organisations to deliver the project safely, to the right quality, on schedule and within budget. To provide assurance to our stakeholders that the project will be delivered safely and that we are controlling all potential hazards and safety risks, this position is required to support any activity that can help control site-wide risks to the project.
