Our client is looking for a Project Officer to assist in the management and delivery of projects within Childrens Services, focusing on practice improvement, performance, quality, strategy, and service development. The role aims to support initiatives that enhance the welfare and wellbeing of children and families, ensuring the successful coordination, implementation, and completion of all project requirements.

Duties will include working on a number of areas within the service including family hubs and earlyyears childcare
Main Responsibilities Assist with project management, coordinating resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
Plan and manage projects within an agreed programme and project management framework.
Provide advice and guidance on project-related matters, considering complex people-related requirements.
Support the maintenance of project risk registers and contribute to issue resolution to ensure successful project outcomes.
Assist in performance management and data analysis to promote quality practice, service delivery, and continuous improvement.
Support the identification, evaluation, and implementation of improved processes, technology, and systems to enhance project outcomes.
Establish and maintain a central repository of project documentation and information for effective programme management.
Prepare reports, presentations, and other project documentation as required.
Liaise, negotiate, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including managers, employees, and partner agencies, to ensure the effective delivery of projects.
Keep up to date with local and national developments to ensure projects align with statutory and organisational priorities.
Comply with all relevant health and safety, legal, statutory, and financial regulations of the Council.
Undertake any other duties commensurate with the role as required by management
