E-commerce Administrator
The Junior E-commerce Administrator provides essential day-to-day administrative support to maintain the accuracy, consistency and hygiene of Varley’s e-commerce website. This role is highly executional, supporting catalogue updates, PDP content changes, merchandising actions and site checks under the direction of the E-commerce Manager.
The role ensures that product information is correctly uploaded, maintained and presented across all digital storefronts, helping the wider team deliver launches, campaigns and trading activity smoothly and accurately.
Product Data & Catalogue Administration
* Upload and update product data across Akeneo and Shopify, including titles, colours, attributes, sizing, care information and filters.
* Assign tags, attributes and metadata according to established taxonomy and guidelines.
* Support catalogue clean-up tasks such as retagging, renaming, attribute mapping and archiving products.
* Upload imagery, thumbnails and model wear assets, ensuring consistency across PDPs.
* Flag missing, incorrect or incomplete data to the E-commerce Assistant Manager.
PDP Content Updates
* Execute PDP updates as briefed, including copy changes, fit notes, badges, size guides and feature icons.
* Ensure PDP content is accurately reflected across regions and storefronts.
* Support PDP hygiene by checking for broken imagery, outdated copy or incorrect information.
Launch & Campaign Support
* Assist with preparing product data and assets ahead of launches and drops.
* Support last-minute launch changes and fixes under guidance from the senior e-commerce team.
Merchandising & Onsite Updates
* Execute category and PCP updates as instructed, including product sequencing and removals.
* Support updates to influencer pages, seasonal landing pages and campaign edits.
* Swap sold-out or low-stock products quickly to maintain site accuracy.
Search & SEO Administration
* Input Klevu updates such as synonyms, redirects, stop words and filters as briefed.
* Update metadata and page titles as briefed to maintain SEO standards.
* Support SEO hygiene tasks across PDPs and category pages.
Site Hygiene & QA
* Conduct regular site walkthroughs to identify errors, broken links, incorrect merchandising or missing content.
* Log issues clearly and escalate to the E-commerce Assistant Manager or E-commerce Manager.
* Support QA for site changes, launches or CRO tests when required.
