Key Responsibilities Hold a caseload of children and families requiring safeguarding and protection Undertake comprehensive assessments and implement clear, outcome-focused plans Lead child protection investigations and attend case conferences and court when required Build and maintain meaningful relationships with children and families Work in partnership with multi-agency professionals to ensure a holistic safeguarding approach Candidate Requirements Social Work England registration Significant post-qualified experience in Safeguarding, Child Protection, or Children in Need Strong assessment, analysis, and risk management skills Excellent communication and report-writing abilities Commitment to promoting positive change through child-centred practice Why Work With Us £42 per hour Hybrid working with flexibility between home and office Supportive management structure and reflective supervision Excellent professional development opportunities Be part of a progressive and forward-looking council
