Description We are recruit candidate based locally, able to work full-time/part-time with at least 6 months UK based experience in a similar position WE DO NOT PROVIDE SPONSORSHIP! Job Types: Permanent, Full-time, hours: 36-40 hours per week Salary: £12.80per hour Care Home based in Bradford area About the home: Care Centre in Bradford provides a welcoming home for people who need care and support. Trained, friendly staff give people personalised care in a supportive environment. Residents can take part in a variety of activities and have their personal interests and hobbies taken into account. Delicious, nutritious food is served and the care home can cater to specific dietary requirements. Responsabilities include: Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting and assisting Residents when required with all aspects of daily living Assist Residents in all aspects of their care needs, e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual Provide supervision and attention when needed, ensuring Residents retain their comfort and dignity Observe care planning needs for Residents and completed daily records as instructed Assist in framework of social activities by interacting with Residents and helping them continue with hobbies and activities in the Care Centre Answer Nurse Call system, giving assistance as required Answer the door and telephone appropriately Respond accordingly, and pass on messages promptly Report on well-being of Residents Clean and maintain equipment used by Residents and Relatives e.g. wheelchairs, hearing aids, spectacles etc Requirements for the role Ability to communicate effectively at all levels Team player Ability to work on own initiative Previous experience of working with the relevant Service User group We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
