Reporting into the Service Planning / Service Coordination team, you will play a vital role in supporting service delivery, client communication and day-to-day administrative coordination. Working within a super friendly, supportive local team of 6, you will closely support the Service Coordinator(s) and Service Manager, while also being part of a massively successful wider organisation.

2. Salary: £28, - £29, per annum
3. Location: South Shields - free on-site parking
4. Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, 9:00am - 5:00pm
(no evenings or weekends, 1-hour unpaid lunch)
5. Hybrid Working: Office-based initially for training, moving to a hybrid model thereafter

Key Responsibilities
As Service Support Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
14. Acting as a first point of contact for incoming telephone calls and email enquiries from clients and third parties
15. Providing administrative and coordination support to the Service Planning / Service Coordination team
16. Responding to client requests and providing initial information regarding service timelines
17. Supporting the scheduling and coordination of field-based service teams
18. Confirming appointments and liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
19. Monitoring office supplies and placing stationery orders as required
20. Acting as a point of contact for office maintenance and facilities-related queries
21. Working closely with other administrative teams across the business to maximise efficiency and resource use
22. Maintaining accurate records and supporting compliance with internal processes
About You
We're looking for someone who is highly organised, adaptable and confident, with a professional and proactive approach. Previous experience within an engineering, construction, logistics or operational environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.
You will ideally bring:
23. Proven experience in an administrative or service support role
24. Confidence communicating with clients via telephone and email
25. A calm, solutions-focused approach in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change
26. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
27. Strong attention to detail, organisation and record keeping
28. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn bespoke systems
