Warehouse Operations Manager - Fulfilment Division Location: Hayes, Middlesex Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience) Benefits: Company pension, discretionary bonus, private health insurance, 4 weeks' annual holiday bank holidays, on-site parking About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to lead a growing fulfilment division within a fast-paced and expanding logistics environment. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in fulfilment operations who thrives on building teams, shaping processes, and delivering operational excellence. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will have the autonomy to implement and refine systems, SOPs, and processes to ensure efficiency and scalability. You will also play a key role in shaping the growth strategy and helping to transform the fulfilment function into a market-leading operation. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the fulfilment operation (currently c.10 staff, with expansion plans underway). Oversee day-to-day performance across multiple warehouse zones. Allocate staff, manage shifts, and ensure accountability within the team. Implement and enforce SOPs and process improvements to drive efficiency. Monitor and report on KPIs and SLAs. Ensure effective use of WMS platforms (Mintsoft and other bespoke systems). Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and best practice. Maintain exceptional standards of organisation, tidiness, and health & safety compliance. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver growth objectives. Skills & Experience Required Significant experience within a fulfilment or 3PL environment. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire. Hands-on experience implementing SOPs, processes, and systems. Solid knowledge of WMS platforms (Mintsoft experience highly desirable). Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Excel. Ability to manage KPIs, SLAs, and client expectations effectively. Stable career history with clear progression and achievement. Drive, passion, and the ability to lead from the front.
