The role will commence in April 2026 or September 2026 and will support the strategic development of SEND provision across the school and contribute to ensuring high-quality teaching, targeted support, and meaningful progress for pupils with additional needs. Core Responsibilities: Assist the SENDCO in overseeing SEND provision across the school. Support with identification, assessment, and monitoring of pupils with SEND. Coordinate interventions and track their effectiveness. Work with teachers to ensure high-quality classroom provision, differentiation, and scaffolding. Support the writing and review of pupil profiles, support plans, and EHCP-linked documentation. Liaise with external professionals, families, and services as required. Maintain accurate SEND records and contribute to statutory reporting. Lead or support training and professional learning for staff around inclusive strategies. Contribute to ensuring that the school meets its legal and statutory obligations in relation to SEND. Promote a culture of inclusion, high expectations, and aspirational outcomes for all learners. The role will involve teaching, undertaking administrative duties, monitoring, and delivering SEN interventions.
