About the Role As a Payroll Administrator, youll play a vital role in managing weekly payroll processes, maintaining up-to-date employee records, and ensuring all statutory payments and deductions are processed correctly. Youll collaborate closely with Finance, HR, and external payroll providers to deliver a seamless payroll experience. Key Responsibilities Process weekly payroll accurately and on time Maintain employee payroll records, ensuring all details (rates, hours, deductions) are correct Calculate and process statutory payments Resolve payroll discrepancies promptly Support Finance with payroll journals and reporting Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and internal policies Respond to payroll queries promptly and professionally Maintain strict confidentiality and data security Support HR with new starters, leavers, and pay changes Collaborate with external payroll providers Contribute to process improvements to streamline operations What Were Looking For Keen eye for detail and accuracy Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent communication both written and verbal Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel essential) Experience using payroll software Knowledge of statutory payments, pensions, and HMRC regulations Why Join?
