Your new role
As a Health and Safety Advisor, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring workplace safety and well-being. You’ll:
1. Conduct risk assessments and develop safe operational procedures
2. Lead site inspections and evaluate safety performance
3. Design internal strategies and reports to enhance policies
4. Deliver training sessions and promote safety awareness across teams
5. Maintainpliance with HSE regulations and monitor legislative updates
6. Advise on safety issues including fire risks, noise, and occupational disease
7. Ensure safe equipment installation and hazardous material disposal
What you'll need to succeed
8. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
9. Preferably experience in the food sector
10. Strong interpersonal andmunication abilities
11. Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
12. Recognised qualifications (IOSH, NEBOSH, City & Guilds)
13. Degree in Occupational Health, Risk Management or related field (preferred)
14. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
