Service Desk Support Specialist
A skilled Service Desk Support Specialist is required to provide advanced technical assistance and resolve customer incidents in a timely and professional manner. This role involves handling incoming issues, queries, and help requests from end-users via various communication channels.
Responsibilities:
• Handle and resolve customer incidents efficiently
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support
• Fulfil service requests and perform hardware provisioning activities
• Collaborate with other teams to drive incident and problem resolution
Requirements:
• Technical proficiency and good troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Windows and Linux Desktop environments
• Fundamental understanding of IT networks
• Certification in or a good working knowledge of ITIL
• Proficient in use of ITSM ticketing systems (e.g., Freshdesk, Jira, ServiceNow)
• Proficient in use of knowledge systems (Confluence, SharePoint)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Service desk experience
• Customer-focused and excellent communicator
Desirable Skills:
• Experience in secure communications
• Unix experience
• Knowledge of Wi-Fi networks
• Experience with Apple mobile device management
Eligibility:
To be eligible for this position, you must:
• Be a British citizen
• Hold or be able to obtain a NSV-DV clearance
• Previous experience as a Service Desk Analyst
Work Arrangements:
This role involves participating in an on-call roster and occasional after-hours work to support business and client requirements. While flexible working hours are supported, you will complete your day-to-day work on-site.
