Role Overview
Edinburgh Health & Social Care Partnership is recruiting a Specialist Occupational Therapist to deliver major transformational change to strengthen and redesign its home‑based rehabilitation services. The role is part of the Enhanced Rehabilitation Service, which will provide rehabilitation in a home‑based setting seven days a week.

Responsibilities
* Deliver high quality, person‑centred occupational therapy interventions for a range of medical conditions.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement new rehabilitation pathways.
* Support the development of rehabilitation skills, quality improvement initiatives, and team building.
* Assist in the design and roll‑out of the new Enhanced Rehabilitation Service.
Requirements
* Current Membership/record on the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme for the relevant regulatory group (child and/or adult).
* Compliance with the new criminal record check requirements effective 1 April 2025.
* Commitment to professional development and access to training opportunities.
* Flexibility to undertake secondments and support flexible working as per NHS Lothian Policy.
Location
Service based in the Canaan Park building, Astley Ainslie Hospital.
