We’re committed to empowering people to live independently and we’re looking for a skilled Finance Officer to help us continue that mission.
In this role, you’ll manage the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all financial activities. You’ll use Xero daily to handle accounts payable and receivable, reconcile accounts, and produce management reports. You’ll also support payroll, VAT returns, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
*
Maintain and reconcile the company’s Xero accounting system
*
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
*
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
*
Assist with payroll processes, VAT returns, and year-end accounts preparation
*
Ensure compliance with financial procedures and regulatory requirements
*
Provide financial insights to management to support strategic decisions
Skills & Experience:
*
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role
*
Proficient in Xero accounting software (essential)
*
Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
*
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
*
Good working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
*
AAT qualification (or equivalent) preferred but not essential
*
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
