We currently have a vacancy for a Customer Support Assistant to join our team at Keighley Bus Station.
In this key frontline role, you will be responsible for helping to maintain a clean and welcoming environment at one of our region's busiest public transport hubs. You will work closely with colleagues and external partners to ensure excellent customer service is delivered at all times. Customer Support Assistant duties include general cleaning, housekeeping, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the station. You will also play an important role in ensuring a safe and secure environment for both passengers and staff.
This is a part-time position worked on a shift basis, with weekend availability required. Whilst experience in a similar role is beneficial, full training will be provided.

The Role
Reporting into the Bus Station Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
General cleaning duties including sweeping and mopping, emptying bins, cleaning bus station toilets and washing facilities as required, dusting, cleaning internal and external glass, and responding to spillages as needed.
Working with the Bus Station Manager to maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment by operating cleaning machinery (including vacuum cleaners and electronic floor scrubbers) and carrying out cleaning duties across outdoor areas and the station perimeter.
To be responsible for the safe use and storage of cleaning materials and use the correct personal protective equipment in accordance with the health and safety and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations.

About You
You will have the following key skills, attributes, education, and experience:
Previous experience working with customers and providing excellent customer service.
Previous experience of working effectively as part of a team.
Experience or a general understanding of health and safety regulations.
Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks and personal responsibilities.
Good reading and writing skills to ensure clear communication.
