As a member of our team, you will create positive relationships with our children and young people supporting them with day-to-day skills. You will know how to work as part of a dedicated team and also be pro-active and consistent in your approach to safeguarding and supporting our young people through effective engagement in their daily routines and activities. You must be willing to and able to work on a rota basis, including some weekends, bank holidays and waking nights. All Residential Support Workers should have a minimum Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare as a minimum or another relevant qualification; or be willing to study towards gaining this qualification. £ 13.50 - £14.50 ph Requirements to be successful: Experience of working with children / young people in Ofsted environment (essential) Level 3 CYPW or above (or currently working towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care) (essential) Enhanced DBS Check, and on the update service (essential) Personal: Acting as a role model to our young people To keep updated on the everchanging requirements and good practice in our industry to support young people by developing skills, knowledge, and experience, in accordance with a personal development plan. To embrace and learn from the regular supervision provided. Experience: Supporting young people: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (preferred) Home Responsibilities: To share in the practical activities necessary to maintain the House. To care for the home, equipment, and overall environment Additional Duties: To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by management. To work shifts including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis as required Flexibility to work at other properties as directed by management.
