The Facilities Management team is a professional and technical team supporting Oxfordshire County Council properties and colleagues across the County. Our purpose is to ensure that Oxfordshire County Council provides safe, compliant, and welcoming workspaces for staff, members, and visitors. We are responsible for providing the services that enable and support organisational performance.
About The Role
Lead and manage a team to deliver high-quality services aligned with organisational priorities. Oversee performance, support staff development, and ensure effective service delivery through planning, coordination, and problem-solving. Work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders to implement improvements and drive change. In addition to managing people, contribute professional expertise to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
About You
* Highly experienced in delivering Facilities Management services within a large organisation.
* Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships.
* Experience managing contracts and budgeting.
* Ability to work within a team and take initiative.
* Qualified to at least NVQ level 3 FM (or a similar discipline).
* Minimum 2 years of management experience.
